What is First Kicks to Little Steps?
First Kicks to Little Steps is a four-stage motherhood and family experience celebrating maternity, newborn, sitter and first birthday milestones. Each session is thoughtfully planned to help you enjoy the experience and preserve a special chapter of your family's story.
What is included in the package?
The experience includes all four sessions, maternity outfits for Mum, baby outfits for the newborn, sitter and first birthday sessions, styling tailored to your preferred colours and themes, refreshments during the newborn session, a first birthday cake, a personalised wooden spoon with your child's name, and one 12×8-inch mounted print from each session (4 in total). The halfway promotion also includes two additional maternity digital images, subject to the offer terms.
Do I need to bring outfits for myself or my baby?
Maternity outfits and gowns are provided for Mum, and outfits are provided for baby throughout the newborn, sitter and first birthday sessions. You can discuss your preferences with me so we can tailor each session to your family.
Can I choose the colours or themes?
Yes. Styling is bespoke and tailored to your preferred colours and themes, helping each session feel personal to your family. If you are unsure I will help walk you through everything.
Are food and refreshments included?
Yes. All sessions have access to snacks, hot and cold drinks. Sandwiches are also provided during your newborn studio experience as this can last around 3 hours.
Do we get to keep the personalised wooden spoon?
Yes. Your baby's first birthday experience includes a personalised wooden spoon featuring your child's name, which you can use during the session and take home as a keepsake.
What images are included and how much for extras?
Included in your experience is a stunning 12×8” mounted print from each of your four sessions (4 in total). As a special bonus for booking during our halfway promotion, you’ll also receive two complimentary digital images from your maternity session (a £190 value).
Additional artwork, prints, collections and digital files are available to purchase at your viewing appointments, with individual items starting at £95. While most families choose to invest between £395 and £995 per session, there is never any pressure - you only buy the portraits you completely fall in love with.
How much does First Kicks to Little Steps cost?
The standard package is available and is booked by many families at £295. Mums receiving the exclusive halfway-pregnancy offer can book for £147.50 through their dedicated booking link. Book within 48 hours of receiving your email & text notification for this offer and you also receive 2 bonus digital images, worth £190, from your Maternity session.
How do I receive the two bonus maternity digital images?
Book through your exclusive halfway-pregnancy link within the stated 48-hour bonus period and the two additional maternity digital images are included as a special gift with your booking.
What if my baby arrives earlier or later than expected?
Babies love to arrive on their own schedule, and every milestone unfolds in its own sweet time! Because of this, we don't set a fixed date in the diary right away. Once your little one makes their safe arrival into the world, simply send us a quick message, and we’ll get your calm, unhurried newborn session officially booked in.
What happens after I book?
I will personally call you within 72 hours of booking to welcome you onboard, arrange your maternity session, go through the experience and answer any questions you may have.
What are the cancellation and booking terms?
In the deeply sad event of a pregnancy loss before any photoshoots take place, we provide a full refund.
For general cancellations once your session journey has commenced, fees are non-refundable to cover studio admin time and associated costs. You can find our full terms here, you will receive our full terms and conditions upon booking, along with a physical copy included in your welcome pack.
